First day at the new job

On the one hand I’m sad to let go of my dream of being a full-time potter. On the other, I’m feeling excited and extremely lucky to have been given the chance to work at the Philadelphia Museum of Art as Senior Backend Engineer. My projects will be solely devoted to sharing knowledge about art and the museum’s collections, as opposed to increasing ad click-throughs or manipulating children’s minds with addictive dopamine hits.
